I'm just starting my business and don't want to spend a lot, how much does it cost to use Vend?

Vend understands the struggles of starting a business, that's why Vend has a pricing model where the cost would vary depending on the size of your business.  The plans start from USD99 per month and can go up to USD159 per month for each store (USD129 per month if billed annually).

I already have existing hardware, will Vend be compatible with them?

I already have many existing barcodes from my old POS system, can I use them for Vend?

Vend supports the usage of existing barcodes! You can simply scan existing barcodes into the SKU field in the product page, so you don't have to generate new barcodes for your products.

My store location has poor internet connection, would Vend still work for me?

Although we recommend that you use Vend on a stable internet connection, it is still possible to use Vend offline or with a poor connection. Vend's offline mode allows you to perform a number of tasks such as taking cash payments, searching for products, etc., however some features may be unavailable offline.

I am planning to expand my brand online. Is Vend integrated with any Ecommerce platforms?

Vend has direct integration with Shopify, which allows you to connect and sell directly online. Vend also is compatible with other platforms such as eBay, Etsy, Magento, etc.

Can I do stock controls like returning stock on the system?

If stock has been delivered faulty, over supplied or is on consignment, you may need to return them to your supplier. You can create a stock return on Vend and this allows you to have a record of this return as well as easily contact the supplier via email, which can act as a credit request.

How do I process a Return for a completed sale on my iPad?

To process a return on your sell screen, simply follow the following steps:

  1. Ask the customer for their receipt (if required under your policy) or for their name and date/time of the sale or other details required to find the transaction.
  2. Tap on the menu button on the top left and open ‘Sales History’.
  3. Use the filter options to search by receipt number (or other details) if required.
  4. Once the sale is located tap on it to expand the details.
  5. Check the item being returned to ensure it matches the item sold.

Now, click on the Return Item button. Clicking this button will load the customer’s sale onto the sell screen.

What happens if I lose my internet connection when using Vend?

Vend supports offline sales. If your internet connection is poor or disconnected, you can still carry out some features on Vend including making sells and cash registry. Once you're back online Vend will automatically sync your sales data.

I have more that one store, will Vend work for me?

Vend works great for businesses with multiple locations and it can make managing your inventory, staff and customer information across all your stores very easily.
