Food Licence Holders Subsidy Scheme

NOVA, as your reliable business partner, knows it may be a hard time for most of the business, thus we had extracted some of the main key points which may benefit for your business as follow.

To help the F&B industry combat the effect of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the HKSAR government propose to offer the following subsidies:

1. a subsidy of $200,000 to each eligible holder of any of the following premises-based licences in operation:


- general restaurant licence;

- marine restaurant licence;

- factory canteen licence; and

2. a subsidy of $80,000 to each eligible holder of any of the following premises-based licences in operation:


- light refreshment restaurant licence;

- food factory licence;

- bakery licence;

- fresh provision shop licence; and

- siu mei and lo mei shop licence.

The government estimate that the above measures will benefit about 28 000 licensees.
