To help the F&B industry combat the effect of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the HKSAR government propose to offer the following subsidies:
- 1. a subsidy of $200,000 to each eligible holder of any of the following premises-based licences in operation:
– general restaurant licence;
– marine restaurant licence;
– factory canteen licence; and
- 2. a subsidy of $80,000 to each eligible holder of any of the following premises-based licences in operation:
– light refreshment restaurant licence;
– food factory licence;
– bakery licence;
– fresh provision shop licence; and
– siu mei and lo mei shop licence.
- The government estimate that the above measures will benefit about 28 000 licensees.
